Crosswise Works

Crosswise Works (CWW), Netherlands is a social enterprise that promotes international sustainable development through consultancy, project design and implementation, specifically in the areas of entrepreneurship development, partnership brokering and access to finance. Crosswise Works is active across 12 African countries with a select number of skilled partners and has been supporting entrepreneurs and entrepreneurship support organizations in a wide range of thematic areas, including agriculture and environmental sustainability.

The main activities of Crosswise Works are:

  1. Development and management of incubation programmes for (social) entrepreneurs (mainly) in Africa that develop products or services in different sectors, like agriculture, circular economy and financial services
  2. Development and execution of capacity building projects in order to increase knowledge and skills of (African) SMEs, NGOs, network organizations and hubs
  3. Building effective partnerships and guiding the work of consortia. For Waendeleze, CWW is involved in designing the support and training framework for participating businesses and in unlocking potential partnerships with the Dutch market.
